Rolling Meadows Raising Cane's Ready For Business, Festivities

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — Raising Cane’s, the popular fast-casual restaurant known for its popular take on chicken fingers and other culinary delights will open its 27th Chicago-area location on Tuesday when the chain opens for business in Rolling Meadows.

The new restaurant, which is located at 1420 Golf Rd. near Busse Woods Nature Preserve, opens its doors at 10 a.m. on Tuesday after a ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 9 a.m., the chain announced on Monday.

The Rolling Meadows location features a double drive-thru that will provide customers faster service and access to Raising Cane's chicken fingers, Texas toast, and its Cane's Sauce, which has become among the most popular items for customers to enjoy, the restaurant said in a news release.

Tuesday’s festivities in Rolling Meadows will offer a series of giveaways, including a “Lucky 20” drawing, which will give customers ages 13 and up a chance to win free Raising Cane's for a year. Entries will be accepted from 8:30 and 9 a.m. on Tuesday and the drawing selecting 20 winners will take place at 9 a.m. Winners must be present to collect their prize.

The first 100 paying Customers in line will receive a unique commemorative T-shirt.

Cane’s will be presenting a check to the School District 15 Special Olympics team, known as the Blue Jays, which provides sports training and competition in numerous sports for kids ages 8-15 with intellectual disabilities.

Jamie Levin, Community Consolidated School District Special Olympics Facilitator, and Sam Toby, Assistant Director of Development and Corporate Relations for Special Olympics Illinois will be on hand to accept the donation.

"We’re so excited to open our doors and share our “One Love” with Rolling Meadows and neighboring communities,” Whitney Halcomb, Rolling Meadows restaurant leader said in a news release. “We’ve hired an amazing crew to help turn new Customers into loyal Caniacs through serving The Perfect Box Combo!"

The Rolling Meadows Raising Cane’s operating hours are 10 a.m. to 12 midnight Sunday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. The location brings more than 90 new jobs to the area.
