Scratchboard Kitchen Awarded 2022 Emerging Business of The Year

Scratchboard Kitchen, a restaurant that prides itself in offering unconventional yet familiar food and drinks made from scratch, was honored with the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce 2022 Emerging Business of the Year Award on January 27. With two dozen Arlington Heights businesses and leaders nominated, the annual awards and recognition gala spotlighted seven categories of Chamber members that strengthen the local community and add to Arlington Heights’ vibrant culture.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized by the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce as the 2022 Emerging Business of the Year,” said Danielle Kuhn, owner and founder of Scratchboard Kitchen. “Receiving this recognition would not be possible without the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence from our team, including our executive chef Grace Goudie. Additional awards presented at the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards gala included Business of the Year, Nonprofit Organization of the Year, Business Leader of the Year and Business Volunteer of the Year.

Scratchboard Kitchen is conveniently located by the Metra Northwest line in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights at 5 W Campbell St. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
