Traffic Accident Closes Arlington Heights Road: Police

Motorists were advised to use an alternate route Thursday afternoon with police and firefighters on the scene.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Motorists were being advised to avoid the area of Arlington Heights Road at Euclid Avenue Thursday afternoon and find an alternate route following a traffic accident that closed the road. Police sent out a social media alert at 12:04 p.m., stating police and firefighters were on the scene.

At 12:46 p.m., police said the road had reopened and was clear.
