2024 Marist High School Football Schedule Released
Find out who the Marist RedHawks play when the season kicks off Aug. 31 against the Morgan Park Mustangs.
CHICAGO — High school football players will be taking to the gridiron as practices can officially start on Aug. 12.
A nine-game regular season, released Thursday, runs through the end of October, before culminating with the Illinois High School Association Football State Finals (November 29 to 30) at Hancock Stadium on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal. The IHSA will be celebrating its 50th state championship games.
The Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams. On Chicago’s South Side, fans will especially be keeping tabs on Marist and Brother Rice, as well as the area's Catholic high schools.

This fall, Marist High School will be joined in the Chicago Catholic League/East Suburban Catholic Conference (Orange) by Joliet Catholic Academy, Providence Catholic (New Lenox) and Notre Dame (Niles).
One of the most anticipated games of the 2024 season, the "Pulaski Road Super Bowl" takes place against Brother Rice High School on Sept. 6.

Mike Fitzgerald returns as the head coach of the varsity Marist RedHawks football team, which finished the 2023 season with a 4-5 overall record in the CCL/ESCC.
Locally, Marist’s regular season begins at home Aug. 31 when the RedHawks entertain the Morgan Park Mustangs. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
