4th of July Fireworks, Concert Planned For Buffalo Grove

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Celebrate America's birthday with the annual concert and fireworks display on July 4 in Buffalo Grove. The event is planned for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Willow Stream Park, 651 Old Checker Road.

A full symphonic band will perform American, patriotic, traditional and Broadway selections in the setting of a "good old-fashioned summer Concert in the Park," according to the Village of Buffalo Grove. The show will be followed by the annual Village fireworks display, launched from Buffalo Grove Golf Course.

Officials say it's a perfect opportunity to bring a picnic basket, cooler and lawn chairs for the free event.
