BUFFALO GROVE, IL — An emergency order for the village of Buffalo Grove was extended by the village board during a special meeting Monday. The order, which was first issued March 17 and later extended on March 24, closed all places of public assemblage and prohibited all activities of soliciting. The order approved Monday added an amendment permitting village manager Dane Bragg to schedule board, committee and commission meetings as needed.

This amendment allows meetings to occur if social distancing or stay-at-home measures are modified. These meetings can occur over the phone, virtually or in person.

The order will be coterminous with the coronavirus disaster proclamation issued by Gov. J.B. Pritzker unless further amended or modified.
