Make A Valentine's Day Card For A Senior In Buffalo Grove

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — In what she calls an "effort to express and share kindness with seniors," State Senator Adriane Johnson (D-Buffalo Grove) is collecting Valentine's Day cards that will be donated across the 30th District. Residents of all ages can be creative and make their own cards or donate store-bought valentines, according to Johnson's office.

Cards will be collected through 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9. Those wishing to participate can drop off cards at Johnson’s office or mail them to her office at 149 S. Genesee St. Waukegan, IL 60085

"A moment of kindness can really make someone’s day," Johnson said. "I encourage residents of all ages to donate or make a homemade card to brighten a local senior’s Valentine's Day."
