Vaccination For Seniors: Sign-ups Underway For Schaumburg Event

The first dose will be given Wednesday, March 17, with the second dose to be given Wednesday, April 7, at the Schaumburg Convention Center.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — In partnership with Jewel/Osco and the member communities of the Northwest Suburban Illinois Joint Emergency Management System, doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have been secured for residents aged 65 and up. JEMS consists of Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, Streamwood, and Wheeling.

The first dose will be given Wednesday, March 17, with the second dose to be given Wednesday, April 7. Those who register for this event must be available on both dates and must show proof of both residency and age (65+) to receive the vaccine.

Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be completed by clicking here. Please note that appointments are required, and walk-up registration is not available. You will be turned away if you do not have an appointment. Telephone registration is not available for this vaccination event.
