Burr Ridge Weekend Weather: Air Quality Alert, Shine To Rain

We can expect a sunny Friday to give way to a potentially rainy Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

BURR RIDGE, IL — The hot and sunny days closing out the second half of the week will potentially give way to some showers this weekend, according to the National Weather Service's forecast.

Friday's heat index is expected to hit 97. Saturday, it'll still be hot, but with a 20 percent chance of showers. Chances of rain will increase throughout the night up to 40 percent on Saturday night to 30 percent on Sunday.

The National Weather Service issued an air quality alert, warning that "Active children and adults especially people with pulmonary or respiratory disease such as asthma should limit prolonged outdoor activity."
