Hinsdale D-86 Closed Doors: Personnel Discussed
The superintendent did not attend the closed session.
BURR RIDGE, IL – The Hinsdale High School District 86 board met for about two hours Wednesday to discuss personnel issues.
The district announced the meeting earlier this week, but at the time declined to state the exemption under state law to close the doors. Many public bodies reveal such information beforehand.
Superintendent Tammy Prentiss did not attend the meeting.

On hand was lawyer Tony Loizzi, who is with the district's law firm, Arlington Heights-based Hodges Loizzi. Tony Loizzi specializes in personnel issues at schools.
Earlier this year, the board met at least twice in closed session to address two complaints against Prentiss. The board's majority sided with the superintendent in each case.

Under state law, a public body can discuss specific personnel in a closed session.
Board President Erik Held did not return a message for comment about the meeting earlier this week.
The board is holding a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Burr Ridge Transition Center, 16W361 S. Frontage Road. No closed session is scheduled.
