WILLOW SPRINGS, IL – TPS Sports+Fitness in Willow Springs has been expanding its offerings, so it is planning a grand reopening later this month.

The gym most recently added pickleball and baseball training. The owners have moved their custom gear business to Willow Springs from The Perfect Swing in Darien.

TPS Sports+Fitness used to have a restaurant called Score Sports Center Bar and Grill. It has since reopened and been rebranded and renovated as Coach's Corner.

The gym opened decades ago as an ice rink practice facility for the Chicago Blackhawks, but it has evolved over the years, according to TPS. At one point, it was owned by the park district and called Chalet.

The previous owners called the gym Score Sports Center. The new owners purchased it in February and renamed it.
