Bungalow Improvement Projects Recognized

The annual Driehaus Award winners have been announced by the Chicago Bungalow Association.

CHICAGO – Sixteen recent bungalow addition projects in the city of Chicago were recognized this week as the 2018 Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Bungalow Award winners. The winners were selected as part of the annual Chicago Bungalow Association contest that honors the creativity and efforts of homeowners for the work they’ve done in interior and exterior renovations, restoration and landscape design.

A record 78 nominations were received for this year's contest, an all-time record. The nominations were judged on overall visual impression, creative design solution and how well the project maintained the integrity of the historic Chicago bungalow.

Bungalows from several city neighborhoods were recognized.
