☀️ Summer Music Camp - July 18-22 in Clarendon Hills

AMI Summer Music Camp will take place July 18-22, 2022, at AMI's Clarendon Hills Campus, located 20min west of Chicago. This day-camp is open to all instruments and levels of students, from beginner to advanced, ages 5-18yrs old, with Aftercare available until 5:30pm.

Camp is held Monday - Friday, with each day consisting of five various instructional and academic classes, a lunch period and orchestra or band.
"The AMI Camp is an exciting, educational and fun way to spend part of the summer playing music," Executive Director Remus Badea says. " while being trained by amazing AMI Faculty, hailing from local colleges and universities."
AMI offers three separate camps, designed for students of varying ages and playing levels...
- Beginner Camp (9am-1pm) is designed for 5-12yrs old and is intended for students with no previous playing experience. The camp will explore many instruments a day, where students will have a chance to play all instruments and creating music, along with composing songs and playing together. The camp is intended to cultivate and nurture creativity in a fun non-pressure environment.
- Little Mozart Camp (9am-3pm) is designed for 5-12yrs old and is intended for students that have been playing a year or more. The camp will focus on creating a positive and rewarding environment for students to expand their musical knowledge in music theory, history, composition, instrument pedagogy, chamber music and orchestra or band. This camp is ideal for students involved in a school band, orchestra or choir.
- Young Artist Camp (9am-3pm) is designed for 13-18yrs old and is geared towards students with more advanced playing experience. Young Artist Camp allows students to hone their skills, explore their musical interests, learn more advanced techniques on their instruments, music theory, history, composition, instrument pedagogy, chamber music and orchestra or band.
