2023 Football Schedule Released For Deerfield School

DEERFIELD, IL — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

Steve Winiecki returns as the head coach of the varsity Deerfield High School football team, which finished the 2022 season with a 6-4 overall record en route to winning the Central Suburban North (5-0 record). This fall, the Warriors move over to the CSL South due to realignment. Deerfield will be joined by Evanston, Glenbrook North, defending champions Glenbrook South, Maine South and New Trier.
