Arrests Made At Portwine, Lake Cook Roads: Riverwoods PD Blotter

Several people were busted for driving under the influence of alcohol and other charges, according to police.

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

  • Sara Flores-Moran, 30, of the 1400 block of 20th Street, North Chicago, is accused of improper lane usage, no valid driver's license, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:03 a.m. Nov. 5, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 13.
  • Daniel J. Hauenstein, 35, of the 13000 block of W. Blanchard Road, Waukegan, is accused of speeding, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:20 a.m. Oct. 28, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 22.
  • Clifford E. Cash, 42, of the 1500 block of Acorn Court, Gurnee, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Oct. 30, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 22.
