In total, 97 readers shared their go-to pizza places in Deerfield.

It was a close call, but Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta beat out nearby spots like Judy's Pizzeria (Highland Park), Barnaby's of Northbrook and Lou Malnati's. Our reader's poll ran Monday through Friday.

Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta, located at 750 Osterman St., is a Quick-serve stop for housemade Italian specialties, including pizza and lasagna, plus beer and wine.

Readers taking our poll raved about the crust and sauce, among other things, at Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta.
