Shaffer Named To College of Charleston Fall 2023 President's List

Micah Shaffer, of Deerfield, was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2023 President's List (Highly Distinguished). Shaffer is majoring in Art History. To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

University Of Iowa 2023 Fall Semester Dean's List Honorees Announced

More than 7,900 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2023 fall semester. Dean's list status was earned by 1,810 first year undergraduates during the 2023 fall semester at Iowa, 1,773 second year students, 1,940 third year students, and 2,458 fourth year students. More than 950 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2023 fall semester. President's list status was earned by one first year undergraduates during the 2023 fall semester; 182 second year students; 308 third year students; and 484 fourth year students. Deerfield High Graduate Makes Dean's List At Butler

Carly Wilensky, a graduate of Deerfield High School, was recently named to the dean's list at Butler University. A sophomore, Wilensky qualified with a 4.0 grade point average.

Meilman Named To Fall 2023 Dean's List, Wins Gold Stars at The Citadel

Sophie Meilman, of Deerfield, is among the more than 1,300 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the fall 2023 semester at The Citadel. The dean's list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester. In addition, Meilman is one of the more than 650 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the fall 2023 semester. Gold stars are awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher. Cadets and students who achieve gold star recognition are also placed on The Citadel's dean's list. Those cadets may wear gold stars on their uniforms throughout the semester following their academic achievement. A gold star recognition certificate is awarded to non-cadet

Dean's, President's Lists Students Named For UA Fall 2023 Term

A total of 13,950 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
