Deerfield Park Foundation and Deerfield Park District are thrilled to invite you to our highly anticipated two-day community pickleball event, Dinks for Deerfield! Get ready for an action-packed weekend filled with exciting matches, delightful food, cold refreshments, and unforgettable camaraderie at Shepard Park. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a novice eager to join in the fun, this event promises something for everyone. Let’s kick off the summer season with a smash! Mark your calendars and gather your team for a weekend of pickleball excitement!🥒🏓

  • Friday, May 31st: Dinks and (Soft) Drinks from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, June 1st: Tournament from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Shepard Park courts, 1040 Hackberry Rd. Deerfield, IL
  • Weather Contingency: In case of inclement weather, the tournament will relocate to Sachs Recreation Center.
  • Skill Level Divisions: 2.0/2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+
  • Team Composition: Mixed or same gender, any age combination
  • Registration Requirement: Teams must list a teammate upon registration
  • Format:
    • Preliminary Matches: Round-robin format with a minimum of five matches. Rally scoring applies, meaning every rally results in a point, regardless of which team served.
    • Championship Matches: Bracket play with top four teams seeded. Traditional scoring applies.
  • Social Event: Join us for Dinks and (Soft) Drinks on Friday!
  • Tournament: Compete in your skill level division for a chance to win prizes.
  • Sponsorship Opportunities: Showcase your support for the community and pickleball.
