Deerfield Police Cite 57 For Speeding During July Awareness Campaign

The Deerfield Police Department said the monthlong campaign resulted in 92 traffic stops.

DEERFIELD, IL — During a monthlong effort, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Deerfield Police Department said it made 92 traffic stops in July's Speed Awareness campaign. The stops resulted in 77 citations, 57 for speeding.

In a social media post, Deerfield police are reminding the motoring public that "Speeding Catches Up With You."
