Dr. Yigal Greener, age 85.

Beloved husband and best friend for 56 years of Stella nee Stupel.

Loving father of Gilat (Mitchell) Zamost and Anat (Scott) Cohen.

Dear brother of the late Moshe, the late Rami and the late Amikam.

Yigal was a pioneer who helped and was part of the creation of the State of Israel. He served in the Israeli Army as a paratrooper. He helped build the main waterway in Israel. Dr. Greener came to the US in 1965 in order to pursue his Undergraduate, Masters and PhD degrees at New York University, while raising and supporting his family. Not to mention he had a full-time job. He was a well-respected toxicologist.

Most of all he was passionate about his family. He loved them all.

Service Monday 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie.

Interment Memorial Park.
