Drug Induced Homicide Arrest Made: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER

Royshell L. Rhyan, of the 1700 block of Victoria Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of aggravated battery to a peace officer, and was arrested June 10 at the Lake County Jail. They were being held on other charges and were assigned a court date of June 18.

VIOLATION OF PAROLE

Shane R. Nichols, 38, o f the 38700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violation of parole, new charge of resisting arrest, and was arrested June 10 in the 38700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was being detained at in the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and was assigned a court date of July 10.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Thomas R. Schimka, 60, of the 0-100 block of Fairfax Drive, Fox Lake, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested June 10 in the 28900 block of South Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove. He was released and assigned a court date of July 18.
  • Joseph E. Ramsey, 32, of the 35400 block of Northern Avenue, unincorporated Waukegan, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested June 14 in the 35400 block of Northern Avenue, unincorporated Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of June 25.
  • Dionna M. Siler, 36, of the 2200 block of Honore Avenue, North Chicago, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested June 15 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, unincorporated Gurnee. She was released and assigned a court date of July 11.

DRUG INDUCED HOMICIDE

Paul R. Siebert, 37, of the 2600 block of W. Grapevine Avenue, unincorporated Antioch, had a warrant out of McHenry County for drug induced homicide, and was arrested June 11 in the 26300 block of W. Grapevine Avenue, unincorporated Antioch. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Ashley M. Blouch, 34, of Racine, Washington, is accused of aggravated speeding (90 MPH in a 45 MPH zone), driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested June 12 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. She was released following her arrest.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Mayra G. Hernandez, 26, of the 2000 block of Arthur Drive, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, resisting arrest, and was arrested June 12 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. She was released and assigned a court date of July 24.
  • Juan C. Sancez-Rubio, 39, of the 1000 block of Lunga Court, Round Lake, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested June 13 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of July 26.
  • Carlos Ramiro-Zamora, 36, of the 600 block of Walnut Road, Wauconda, is accused of DUI drugs, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving, no insurance, and was arrested June 13 at Route 12 and Quentin Road, Kildeer. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and was assigned a court date of July 10.
  • Karlee Faunda, 43, of the 35500 block of N. Olive Street, Ingleside, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested June 13 at Route 59 and Dering Road, unincorporated Lake Villa. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 7.
  • Hugo Roma, 37, of the 500 block of Archer Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 13 at Lewis Avenue and Ballentine Street, Waukegan.
  • Fernando Rivera, 34, of the 0-100 block of Washington Park Road, Waukegan, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested June 15 in the 38900 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of June 26.
  • Manuel Pineda-Chavez, 40, of the 500 block of Butrick Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated DUI, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 15 at Sheridan Road and Greenwood Avenue, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of June 17.
  • Mario Martinez-Santiago, 39, of the 2000 block of Catalpa Street, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated DUI, driving while license revoked, and was arrested June 16 at Beach Road and Loyola Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of July 8.

VIOLATING A NO CONTACT ORDER

Lisa M. Davis, 61, of the 3200 block of Talisman Lane, Johnsburg, had a warrant out of DeKalb County for violating a no contact order, and was arrested June 15 at Route 12 and State Park Road, Fox Lake. She was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and a future court date in DeKalb County was to be determined.

OPERATING A RENTAL BOAT WITHOUT A STATE LICENSE

Jason K. Tadlock, 49, of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, is accused of operating a rental boat without a state license, failure to provide required equipment for a rental boat, and was arrested June 15 at Pistakee Lake. He was released following his arrest.
