Library Closing Early Thursday In Deerfield

DEERFIELD, IL — The Deerfield Public Library is closing early Thursday due to the predicted severe weather in the area. The library at 920 Waukegan Road will close at 1 p.m. and remain closed Friday.

Following the holiday weekend, the library will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday.

Library officials said the outside book drops will be closed during this time. Patrons are asked to wait until the library reopens to return materials. Due dates on all materials have been extended and there will be no late fees.

Even though the building is closed, patrons can visit our website anytime to access the library's online resources, including e-books, downloadable audiobooks, streaming movies, TV shows, and music.
