Man With Sex Assault Warrant Arrested: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

POSSESSION OF HEROIN

Melissa Butler, 42, of the 40200 block of N. Lakeshore Drive, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested May 27 in the 27800 block of Grass Lake Road, unincorporated Antioch. She was released and assigned a court date of June 25.

BATTERY

• Wilmer Clarus-Rivas, 38, of the 1500 block of 27th Street, Zion, is accused of battery, and was arrested May 28 at the Lake County Jail. He was being held there on other charges at the time of his arrest and was assigned a court date of July 30.
• Ismael Ortega-Vicente, 29, of the 900 block of Kenilworth Road, Round Lake Beach, is accused of battery, and was arrested May 28 at the Lake County Jail. He was being held there on other charges at the time of his arrest and was assigned a court date of June 4.
• Dakota J. Feibach, 25, of the 11300 block of W. Carnahan Avenue, Beach Park, had a warrant out of Dunn County, Wisconsin, for battery, and was arrested May 31 in the 11300 block of W. Carnahan Avenue, Beach Park. They were being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and a future court date in Dunn County was to be determined.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Cory D. Leafblad, 61, of the 13900 block of W. Adams Street, Wadsworth, is accused of driving while license suspended, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested May 28 in the 13900 block of W. Adams Street, Wadsworth. He was released following his arrest.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Elea I. Ahmad, 31, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, had a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence, and was arrested May 29 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. They were being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of their arrest and were assigned a court date of June 27.
• Collin M. Maze, 27, of the 25300 block of Route 173, unincorporated Antioch, had a warrant out of McHenry County for DUI alcohol, and was arrested May 30 in the 25300 block of Route 173, unincorporated Antioch. A future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of this report.
• Bertin Gomez Aviles, 34, of the 0-100 block of Echo Court, Vernon Hills, is accused of DUI alcohol, endangering the life of a child, and was arrested May 31 at Route 83 and Gross Pointe Boulevard, Long Grove. They were released and assigned a court date of July 3.
• Jesus J. Galvan Carillo, 26, of the 1000 block of S. Oak Street, West Chicago, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 1 at Route 59 and Anderson Road, North Barrington. He was released and assigned a court date of July 24.
• Matthew R. Blythe, 50, of the 4100 block of Tiger Lily Lane, Gurnee, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested June 1 at Yorkhouse Road and Bayonne, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of July 17.
• Brian M. Moore, 19, of the 20100 block of S. Pine Road, Frankfort, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested June 1 at Route 12 and Cuba Road, Lake Zurich. He was released and assigned a court date of July 17.
• Jose J. Solorio, 44, of the 2700 block of W. Ridgeland Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 2 in the 36200 block of N. Green Bay Road, unincorporated Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of July 24.
• Michael W. Scott, 22, of the 1000 block of 18th Street, North Chicago, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested June 2 at Midlothian and Hickory roads, unincorporated Mundelein. He was released and assigned a court date of July 31.
• Irene Pliego, 27, of the 7000 block of Hidden Green Circle, Fox Lake, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 2 in the 0-100 block of Matts Road, Fox Lake. She was released and assigned a court date of July 24.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Aleksandr Furman, 33, of the 9000 block of Capitol Drive, Des Plaines, is accused of violating an order of protection, suspended registration, and was arrested May 29 at Route 21 and Inverrary Lane, unincorporated Deerfield. He was released following his arrest.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Joshua A. Mazzarella, 29, of North Point, Florida, had a warrant out of Baltimore, Maryland, for sexual assault and was arrested May 29 in the 500 block of Decatur Avenue, North Chicago. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and a future court date in Baltimore was to be determined.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Hailey A. Gertz, 23, of the 26100 block of W. Lakeview Avenue, Ingleside, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested May 29 in the 26100 block of W. Lakeview Avenue, Ingleside. She was released and assigned a court date of June 17.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

Jose R. Duran Fernandez, 35, of the 400 block of Washington Park Street, Waukegan, had a warrant out of Cook County for contempt of court, and was arrested May 30 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $13,186 and a future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

Keith E. Bradley, Jr., 33, of the 2000 block of Indian Ridge Road, McHenry, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license suspended, and was arrested May 31 at Route 12 and Terrace Lane, Spring Grove. He was released following his arrest.

FLEEING TO ELUDE

Mauricio Xavier Espinoza Montenegro, 39, of the 900 block of Leamington Avenue, Chicago, is accused of fleeing to elude, no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested May 31 at Route 12 and Eagle Point Road, Fox Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of July 24.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

Brian J. Johnson, 51, of the 0-100 block of Boren Street, Wauconda, had a warrant for criminal trespass to property, and was arrested June 1 in the 400 block of Route 22, unincorporated Barrington. He was released and assigned a court date of June 13.

UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT

Tyler S. Sides, 37, of the 300 block of N. Walnut Drive, Versailles, is accused of unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested June 1 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of June 18.
