RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Brian S. Bardo, 18, of the 0-100 block of Brantwood Avenue, Elk Grove Village, is accused of assault, criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 3:04 a.m. April 14, following an incident at a Thorton's gas station. According to police, Bardo shattered two bottles of wine and threatened to shoot an employee after they refused to sell tobacco products to him without an ID. He was released and assigned a court date of May 15.

SELLING ALCOHOL TO AN UNDERAGE AGENT

Tong Fang, 33, of the 3700 block of Archer Avenue, Chicago, is accused of selling alcohol to an underage agent at a business in the 2000 block of Milwaukee Avenue, and was arrested at 7 p.m. April 14. Police were conducting compliance checks at businesses selling alcohol and/or tobacco. Fang is scheduled to appear at an administrative hearing at Riverwoods Village Hall on a date that was to be determined at the time of the report.
