DEERFIELD, IL — Patrons of the Deerfield Public Library must now wear masks while inside the building. Stating the requirement is due to the "substantial transmission rate of COVID-19 in Lake County," the library announced the update Monday.

The new mandate is required regardless of vaccination status, and is effective immediately, according to a news release.
