(Corrected link) Riverwoods Seeking Trustee Candidates for Election

(https://bit.ly/RiverwoodsElection) Three elected trustee positions will be available to serve the Village of Riverwoods.

The Riverwoods Caucus Party Nominating Committee (NomCom) is seeking candidates for three Trustee positions to be elected to the Riverwoods Village Board in advance of the April 2023 election.

Residents may obtain an application and questionnaire after Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Riverwoods Village Hall or download the information from the website below.

The Riverwoods Caucus Party is a state-authorized nonpartisan and regulated candidate selection process designed to seek out, select and support individuals who agree to run for and, if elected, serve in positions on the village government.

A candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

• U.S. citizen and a Riverwoods resident

• Reside in Riverwoods at least one year prior to the election date

• Registered to vote in Riverwoods

• Current with all municipal taxes

• Not a convicted felon

Applications and completed Questionnaire are due by Oct. 22. The NomCom will hold publicly open candidate interviews Nov. 12 and a public Town Hall meeting on Dec. 5 to elect candidates for placement on the April 2023 ballot.
