Semi-Truck Stuck Under Viaduct Causes Closures On Waukegan Road

Deerfield police said the incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, and fire crews are still working to clear the area.

DEERFIELD, IL — A semi-truck too tall to pass under a viaduct on Waukegan Road is causing traffic delays while Deerfield fire officials work to un-stick it.

A representative from Deerfield police said there were no other vehicles involved in the incident, which occurred at around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.

The area west of Waukegan and Deerfield Roads remained closed as of noon on Tuesday while a towing company worked to separate the semi-truck from the tight situation.
