Village Of Deerfield: Goldstone Chosen To Fill Village Board Vacancy

On Monday night, the Deerfield Village Board of Trustees unanimously accepted Mayor Daniel C. Shapiro’s appointment of Jennifer Goldstone to the position of Trustee. Goldstone was sworn into office following the Board’s approval, filling the vacancy left by former Trustee William “Bill” Seiden’s recent death.

Goldstone served on the Plan Commission since 2017. Goldstone is a real estate attorney and managing member of the firm Horwitch Goldstone & Shaw and has experience in all facets of real estate transactions. She has lived in Deerfield with her husband Bruce for more than 20 years, and has two children away in college.

“I am honored to have been appointed by Mayor Shapiro to the Board of Trustees and look forward to continuing my service to the Village,” Goldstone said.

Mayor Shapiro said Goldstone’s years of experience on the Plan Commission will be an asset to her in this new role.
