Wisconsin Man Busted With Stolen Car: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Anthony French, 23, of the 2000 block of Dawn Lane, Zion, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested March 4 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report. He was assigned a court date of March 21.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Ervin Mesaljic, 28, of the 5500 block of N. Winthrop Avenue, Chicago, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested March 4 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report. He was assigned a court date of March 14.

BATTERY

Stephen McGuinn, 69, of the 38500 block of N. Route 59, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of battery, criminal damage to property, and was arrested March 4 in the 25200 block of N. Gilmer Road, unincorporated Mundelein. He was released and was assigned a court date of April 17.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Ubaldo L. Sanchez-Ochoa, 26, of the 800 block of McAlister Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated speeding (94 mph in a 55 mph zone), improper transportation of cannabis, driving while license suspended, and was arrested March 5 at Route 120 and Hunt Club Road, unincorporated Gurnee. He was released following his arrest.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Kenneth L. Wheeler, 45, of the 700 block of 148th Street, Dolton, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (84 mph in a 50 mph zone), and was arrested March 5 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. He was released and was assigned a court date of May 8.
• Aldo Velazquez, 30, of the 1200 block of Sunset Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested March 5 at Rollins Road and Drury Lane, unincorporated Round Lake. He was released and was assigned a court date of April 17.
• Joseph A. Delapara, 38, of the 37000 block of N. Bernice Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 5 at Rollins Road and Drury Lane, unincorporated Round Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of May 1.
• Amy Fell, 39, of the 1900 block of E. Cedarwood Circle, Round Lake Heights, is accused of aggravated DUI, and was arrested March 6 at Route 12 and Fox Lake Road, Fox Lake. She was released and assigned a court date of April 15.
• Aralin A. Alvarez, 23, of the 4300 block of Finch Court, Gurnee, is accused of DUI drugs, reckless driving unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, and was arrested March 7 at Delany and Wadsworth roads, Wadsworth. They were released and assigned a court date of April 10.
• Antonio Logwood, 46, of the 400 block of Jackson Street, Woodstock, is accused of DUI alcohol, driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested March 8 at Route 12 and Grand Avenue, Fox Lake. He was released and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Nicholas J. Holderbaum, 24, of the 1900 block of Gabriel Avenue, Zion, is accused of aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested March 9 at Sheridan Road and Oak Forest Drive, Beach Park. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of March 12.
• Daniel A. Deen, 54, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested March 10 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of April 17.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

James A. Paulick, 41, of the 22900 block of N. Apple Hill Lane, unincorporated Lincolnshire, had a warrant out of Wisconsin for contempt of court, and was arrested March 6 in the 22900 block of N. Apple Hill Lane, unincorporated Lincolnshire. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of March 21.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

Jennifer F. Hass, 52, of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, driving with a suspended registration, and was arrested March 6 at routes 120 and 45, Grayslake. She was released following her arrest.

Rashad T. Reed, 26, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is accused of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle, and was arrested March 9 in the 39100 block of Route 41, Wadsworth. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of April 9.
