Minister Talks Family Fun in the Suburbs
In a Patch Connect video, Greg Barrette of Unity Northwest Church shares his view on family time.
Ask him where his favorite place to go on the weekends is, and Greg Barrette, minister of Unity Northwest Church in Des Plaines, won’t hesitate with his answer: Chinatown in Chicago. Barrette tries to go there whenever he can, his teenage kids in tow. (Barrette says they’re obligated to go with him to Chinatown on Father’s Day and his birthday.) Besides Chinatown, Barrette also enjoy bike riding with his family along the trails of nearby nature preserves. And sometimes the most fun the minister and his family can have is just relaxing at home.
