Schiller Street Detours Set for Watermain Installation in Elmhurst
The detours will be in place from Aug. 16 to 18, weather permitting.
ELMHURST, IL — Two different detour routes will be in place around Schiller Street from Aug. 16 to 18, weather permitting.
A new watermain, fire hydrants and valves will be installed as part of the 2016 Watermain Improvements Project, according to the city.
Drivers will have to use the detours during work hours, though Schiller Street will be open in the evenings. The city advises drivers to use caution in the area.
