22-Year-Old Evanston Man Shot in Arm

Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday morning in the 700 block of Dobson Street.

Evanston police are investigating the events surrounding a 22-year-old man who was shot in the arm Monday morning, according to reports.

The shooting happened at about 8 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Dobson Street, an Evanston police report stated. The victim, a 22-year-old Evanston man, went to Presence St. Francis Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left arm, the report stated, adding his injuries were not life threatening.

Police claim the the victim has gang affiliations, and although no motive has been established, the shooting might have been drug-related, the report stated.
