Back To School: Lincoln-Way District 210 School Year Calendar 2024-25

FRANKFORT, IL — School supplies are already out at local stores, and while it may not seem like it, the start of the school year will be here again before we know it. There are still a few weeks left of summer fun, but the first day of school is Aug. 20 for Lincoln-Way District 210 high school students.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the 24-25 school year:

• Aug. 20, first day of school
• Sept. 2, no school, Labor Day
• Sept. 4, early release
• Sept. 18, early release
• Oct. 2, early release
• Oct. 11, institute day, no school
• Oct. 14, Columbus Day, no school
• Nov. 4, early release
• Nov. 5, Election Day, no school
• Nov. 26, early release
• Nov. 27-29, Thanksgiving break, no school
• Dec. 4, early release
• Dec. 20, winter break begins at end of day
• Dec. 23-Jan. 3, winter break, no school
• Jan. 6, institute day, no school
• Jan. 7, students return from break
• Jan. 20, Martin Luther King Day, no school
• Jan. 29, early release
• Feb. 12, early release
• Feb. 17, Presidents' Day, no school
• March 13, early release
• March 14, institute day, no school
• March 28, early release, spring break begins at end of day
• March 31-April 4, spring break, no school

Graduations for all three high schools, Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way West and Lincoln-Way East, will be held on May 17.
