FRANKFORT, IL — Two Frankfort businesses were burglarized by two people Wednesday, according to Frankfort Police Deputy Chief Kevin Keegan. Police are asking for the public's help catching the pair of burglars, Keegan said.

The burglaries took place between 5:20 and 5:45 a.m. at Xfinity, 20151 S. Lagrange Road, and Pete Mitchell’s Bar and Grill, 21000 S. Frankfort Square Road, Keegan said. In both cases, a landscaping brick was used to smash windows to gain entry, Keegan said.

The burglars are both described as wearing hooded sweatshirts and fleeing in a black Chevy Sedan, according to Keegan. The burglars headed out on eastbound Lincoln Highway, Keegan said.
