FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department is advising residents of a controlled burn happening Tuesday in the village, according to a news release from Frankfort Police Department.

The controlled burn is taking place at the Hickory Creek Junction Preserve at Lincoln Highway and Prestancia Drive, according to the release. It is expected to be over at around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Local fire, police and dispatch have been made aware of the controlled burn.
