Frankfort Woman Attacked At Her Home: Police

Frankfort police said the attack happened Friday morning. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the attacker.

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort police are looking for a man they say punched a woman in the face during a discussion Friday at the woman's home, according to a news release sent out by the Frankfort Police Department.

Frankfort police responded to the 22000 block of Thyme Lane at approximately 9:20 a.m. for the report of the battery, police said. Police said they are looking for a Black male wearing a green stocking hat, gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

The woman was punched in the face after answering her door and having a discussion with the attacker, police said. The woman was not able to say where the man went after the attack, but that he fled down the walkway, police said.
