FRANKFORT, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday released the name of the armed robber who was shot and killed during the April 30 robbery at Ryan's Pub, 7928 Lincoln Highway in Frankfort.

Triston Morrison, 20, of Calumet City, was identified as the armed robber who was fatally shot by someone inside Ryan's Pub, according to the WCSO. He was one of the two men who robbed the bar using what turned out to be "replica guns," similar to airsoft guns, according to the WCSO.

The two armed men wearing masks, gloves and hoods went into the bar around 3:15 a.m. April 30 demanding money from patrons, police said. The armed robbers threatened to shoot all the patrons and employees if they did not comply with their demands, according to the WCSO.
