Missing Man Found Safe, Uninjured: Police

UPDATE: ​The man has been found safe on Thursday.

FRANKFORT, IL — UPDATE: The man has been found safe on Thursday.


Frankfort Police are trying to find a missing man who possibly wandered away from the area of Indian Boundary Park, at Nebraska Street and Luther Lane, according to an alert from the department.

The last sighting of the man was at noon on Tuesday, at Wolf Road and Old Plank Road Trail, police said. He was traveling west on the trail.

He was not reported missing until Wednesday, when he didn't return home, police said.

The man is white, last seen wearing light-colored jeans and a blue pocket T-shirt, police said. He is visually challenged, uses a white cane, cannot speak well and uses a gastric tube for eating and drinking, according to police.
