Concours D'Elegance Will Again Bring Classic, Modern Cars To Geneva

Classic, antique and modern cars will line Third Street in downtown Geneva for the annual event.

GENEVA, IL — The Concours d'Elegance will bring classic, antique and modern cars to downtown Geneva on Aug. 25.

People from around the country will bring their beloved cars to display them on Third Street in the heart of Geneva. Locals and visitors will have the chance to peruse the works of art from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"The Geneva Concours d’Elegance is your only opportunity in the area to view this fantastic collection of award-winning, unique and rare automobiles," organizers wrote on the event website.

Registration for the cars will begin at 7 a.m. at Fulton and South Second streets, and judging will begin at 9 a.m., an hour before the public begins to arrive. The award ceremony, where some will win the coveted "Benz" trophies, will take place at 2:30 p.m.

The event is free to the public.
