Glenview Garden Walk 2023

Join Greener Glenview and Glenview Gardeners for this year's amazing garden walk!

The Glenview Gardeners and Glenview Native Habitat, a program of Greener Glenview, announce the Glenview 2023 Annual Garden Walk on Sunday, July 9 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

The public is invited to this free event that will showcase six amazing gardens in Glenview and Morton Grove. At each stop, visitors can talk with the gardeners about their different plants and techniques.

This year, the Glenview Gardeners has partnered with Glenview Native Habitat to include three native habitat gardens. These three gardens focus on native plants and creating a safe habitat for pollinators. Each is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as native habitat. If you are interested in creating a native habitat garden, these three gardens will give you some great ideas.

Amy Sanders, president of the Glenview Gardeners said, “This year’s Garden Walk has something for everyone. You’ll see old-fashioned gardens with perennial flowers and shrubs that incorporate a variety of textures and colors. Several stops feature pollinator-friendly gardens that include native plants. Visitors will enjoy a smaller garden in a townhouse community, proving you don’t need a lot of space to create a wonderful garden. The garden walk also includes vegetable gardens and one property includes a small fruit orchard.”
