In-Person Class, School Closings In Glenview

There are a number of in-person class cancellations and school closings in Glenview for Tuesday, Feb. 16.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for Cook County through noon Tuesday, with 8 to 13 inches of snow possible — and even more in some areas — along with dangerous travel, low visibility and wind chills near minus 20 degrees.

GLENVIEW, IL — After a snowy weekend and Presidents Day, more snow is expected to continue through Tuesday evening, bringing 8 to 13 inches to Cook County. The snow and wintry conditions have led to a number of area school districts, private schools and daycares to stay closed tomorrow for in-person learning and institute e-learning instead.

Here are school districts that are canceling in-person classes and/or instituting e-learning as of 8 p.m. Monday:

  • Glenbrook High School District 225 (Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South high schools) — In-person closed; e-learning
  • District 30 (Northbrook and Glenview) — In-person closed; e-learning
  • District 34 (Glenview) — In-person closed; e-learning
  • Our Lady of Perpetual Help School — Closed Tuesday
  • St. Catherine Laboure School — Closed Tuesday
  • Wesley Child Care Center (daycare) — Closed Tuesday
  • Loyola Academy (Wilmette) — In-person closed; e-learning
