Property Tax Assistance Workshop Planned For Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — Looking for property tax assistance? Northfield Township Assessor Alida Nally is offering a free workshop for residents on Nov. 15 at the Glenview Public Library. The event is co-sponsored by Cook County Board Commissioner Scott Britton (D-14th District).

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the library.

Organizers said attendees with questions should have their tax bills or Property Index Number (PIN) at hand.

The Cook County Assessor is open for 2023 property tax appeals (property taxes paid in 2024) for Northfield Township properties. According to officials, the last day to file a 2023 appeal with the Cook County Assessor is Nov. 28, and can be done here.

As part of its taxpayer services, Northfield Township can review 2023 assessments and help residents file an appeal. Residents can also email the office for assistance or make an in-person or telephone appointment to review their assessment: [email protected] or call 847-724-8300.
