Second Installment Of Property Tax Bills Delayed: Northfield Township

GLENVIEW, IL — Blaming the COVID-19 pandemic and a needed computer system upgrade, the second installment of 2022 property tax bills (payable in 2023) are delayed. According to Alida Nally, Northfield Township assessor, the bills, mailed twice a year in two installments, are expected to be available to property owners by Nov. 1, with a due date of Dec. 1.

"The COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with a critical overhaul of the technological backbone of the system, has had a dramatic impact on the County’s property tax processes and timelines," a Cook County property tax official told the Northfield Township.

The Northfield Township, headquartered in Glenview, includes at least portions of Glenview (majority), Deerfield, Northbrook (majority), Glencoe, Northfield, Prospect Heights, Wilmette and Des Plaines.
