He was a former student who took over my job when I retired.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Dan has increased enrollment in the radio classes so much so that Glenbrook South HS has had to assign/hire more teachers to teach these classes. He was named Teacher of the Year at GBS in part for the enthusiasm, camaraderie, and knowledge. Students describe him as compassionate, humorous, and fair. Parents love him too. He goes above and beyond, giving his free time during the summer to make sure WGBK-FM is up and running and in compliance with all FCC rules and regulations. You will find him at school before the bell rings and then into the evenings and weekends. GBS is lucky to have him.
