Glenview, IL (July 13, 2023): The American Cancer Society (ACS) held its 42nd Annual Windy City Golf Classic with presenting sponsor Wintrust at North Shore Country Club in Glenview, Illinois on June 26, 2023.

ACS partnered with banking organization Wintrust and honorees Joe Pesoli of Cerco Group and Susan Hess of Golftini, Inc. to bring over 175 supporters together to celebrate more than four decades of raising awareness in the fight against cancer. This year’s event supported breast cancer research with a paddle raise that contributed over $25,000. Throughout the day golfers were able to play their own ball at the renovated North Shore Country Club's golf course, one of the most prestigious country clubs in the Chicagoland area.

“I was honored to speak from my heart about fighting the fight against breast cancer,” said Susan Hess, owner and designer of Golftini, Inc. “We enjoyed the day ‘living life’ and playing for a purpose.”
