HINSDALE, IL – A few Hinsdale residents have donated to a local political action committee led by a woman who says schools are hiding the issue of African American children attacking white children in schools.

Kristina McCloy, a Hinsdale resident and Downers Grove trustee, relays her conservative views on a Facebook page she created late last year titled, "Concerned Parents of Hinsdale."

In March, McCloy set up a political action committee called "Concerned Parents." With her house as the mailing address, McCloy is listed as the chairwoman and her husband, William, as the treasurer.

In March, Kristina McCloy, who was appointed to the Downers Grove board last fall, contended white children were the victims of attacks by African American children, but she provided no data. Patch wrote a story about her comments earlier this month.

On the Facebook page, McCloy expresses her views on other cultural issues.

In February, she wrote that children in schools were "sitting ducks."

"With our open border, sanctuary city, illegal invader problem ... we don't know who is here and now these schools are soft targets," McCloy wrote.

McCloy criticized a suburban high school, saying a "tranny boy" at the high school walked into the girls bathroom.

Reacting to the book titled "Julian is a Mermaid," McCloy wrote, "Trying to push their woke gender ideology on our children! This is grooming!"

According to state Board of Elections Records, here is a list of Hinsdale residents who have donated to McCloy's Concerned Parents committee, each giving $1,000:

  • Andrew Catton, former Hinsdale High School District 86 candidate
  • Caroline Flanigan
  • Lauren Kavanaugh, trader
  • Amanda Mancini, real estate broker, @properties Christie's International Real Estate
  • Liz McCloy, lawyer, partner of Sidley Austin law firm
  • Paige McNaul, interior designer, LSM Interior Design
  • William McCloy
  • Teri Pappas, tax accountant
  • Peter Sleiman
  • Kayla Weiss, trader

Kristina McCloy has not returned messages for comment.

The committee says its goal is to "support candidates for school board and other offices and political committees." The next school board elections are in April.
