Hinsdale South Teacher Who Died Identified
The teacher had taught at the high school for two decades.
DARIEN, IL – Ryan Mott, a special education teacher at Hinsdale South High School, suffered a medical emergency early Monday morning at the school.
He died soon after at the Hinsdale hospital.
According to his LinkedIn page, Mott had taught at Hinsdale South since January 2004. He was a military veteran.

Hinsdale South closed at 11:30 a.m. Monday because of Mott's death.
In a media statement Monday, Hinsdale High School District 86 did not release the name of the teacher, but said it was "deeply saddened" and called him "respected."
