You’re invited to the September meeting for 100+ Women Who Care of Will County.
At each of the quarterly meetings members nominate charities, three are chosen at random, and after a brief presentation, the members vote on which charity to support. Once the winning charity is announced, everyone writes a $100 check, on the spot directly to that charity. (Teams of 2 or 4 are welcome to join and share in the giving.)
That’s it! No event planning, no committees, no raffle prize solicitation, no telemarketing, no volunteering – just a group of charity-minded women working together to give back to our own community. We give 100% to the charity. (All charities nominated must be located in, and serve, Will County and must have 501(c)(3) non-profit status.)
100+ Women of Will County has raised over $183,000 for local charities. We have donated to Guardian Angel Community Services, Will County Habitat for Humanity, Angelic Kindness, Shady Oaks, Meals on Wheels, Morning Star Mission, Bags of Hope, Teen-Nite, Inc., CASA of Will County, Big Brothers Big Sister and many more local causes!
