Snow Day: Homewood-Flossmoor School Closures Feb. 9

HOMEWOOD, IL -- Heavy snowfall throughout the Chicago-area has spurred widespread school closures on Friday — And Homewood-Flossmoor is no exception.

The following list comprises local districts' announcements to parents:

Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233
Due to the severe weather warning, H-F will be closed on Friday, Feb. 9. All sporting events & activities are canceled. Click the headline above for details.

Homewood School District 153
Due to expected significant snowfall, all Homewood School District 153 schools will be closed Friday, February 9th. Before and after school activities are also cancelled for Friday.

Flossmoor School District 161
Due to the expected significant snowfall, District 161 Schools and District Offices will be closed on Friday, February 9th. All before and after school activities also are cancelled for the day.
