Vitalant and Northern Illinois Food Bank Team Up for Blood Drive 8/13

The need for food is on the rise and the need for blood is always on the rise during the summer months. Food and blood are very essential and both Vitalant and the Northern Illinois Food Bank are here to serve the community’s vital needs.

Join us for a Double Hero Drive this summer! For each double hero donor who presents for the
blood drive, Vitalant will make a $20 monetary contribution to the Northern Illinois Food Bank –
amplifying the food bank’s impact while saving lives. All food collected will go to the food bank to
support the community.

Vitalant has an urgent need for all eligible donors, most critically those with type O blood, which
dipped to emergency levels this summer.
